Furthermore, a group approach provides an economic alternative to one-on-one outplacement for your organization, and will ensure that all terminated employees are provided with the solid support that they need to get another job.   • On-site Group Packages

    Our group programs are not one-size-fits-all. We are available to discuss your organization’s needs and create a program that will positively influence your employees’ view of how well they were treated in difficult circumstances. By focusing your employees on action, we help them move forward to develop future careers instead of dwelling on the trauma of job loss.

  • Tools for Success

    Participants receive a DMD & Associates, Inc.“Career Transition Workbook” that includes an explanation of the program, job separation exercises, new job target identification plan, and a resume questionnaire. Through group sessions, employees learn how to take charge of their own job search.

    • Identifying career goals and the “ideal” job
    • Identifying strengths and communicating them effectively – learning how to market yourself
    • Using time effectively in an unstructured environment
    • Learning all avenues of a job search – networking, employment agencies, advertisements, and online applications

    • Practicing effective interviewing methods

    • Creating and implementing a job search plan.
  • All group sessions are staged to minimize disruption of final workplace responsibilities of the employees.

    Upon completion, participants should be prepared to handle their own job search with confidence. In addition to learning crucial job search skills, they will have a professionally written resume (and cover letters) and a definitive action plan to follow.

  • Tailored Program

    Often the non-exempt group needs special help to deal with difficult circumstances. DMD & Associates, Inc. offers a program for hourly employees thatincludes a basic overview of fundamental job search methods as well as a professionally prepared resume. This program can be extended to include more upon request.

    A DMD & Associates Outplacement Consultant provides on-site, day-of termination assistance by meeting one-on-one or in small group sessions with terminated employees.  Our consultant will carefully explain the nature and purpose of the outplacement services offered. This enables exiting employees to gain a greater understanding of the outplacement program benefits in seeking re-employment.

    The consultant’s aim is to help the terminated employee cope with his or her emotions, maintain a healthy relationship with your company, and approach the transition process with confidence. The consultant may also help the employee plan how to communicate the news to family, friends and others.

  • Relationship Building

    A personal meeting also enables the transitioning employee and a DMD & Associates Outplacement Consultant to begin establishing a rapport and build trust to ensure an effective partnership.

Each of our tiered outplacement programs runs for a pre-determined period of time. Based on your budget, you can set the program for 30 day to one year.  We stay by your transitioning employees’ side during that time, which allows you both to move forward.
